It’s a privilege to be able to play music in any shape or form. And it’s great fun, but it's particularly rewarding to be involved in the following community projects, in and around Wantage.
- Performing my 1 Man Show in Care Homes and Retirement Villages
- Leading Singing for the brain in Grove for the Alzheimer’s Society
- Christmas Day and Easter Sunday music for Ray Collin’s Charitable Trust lunches
- Playing at a variety of local Special Needs Adults schools, clubs and events
- Originating and running Music in the Marketplace (“Wantage Presents”) for 12 years to raise money for local charities
- Busking Christmas Carols for Wantage and Grove Street Pastors
- Playing in community-centred music and dance groups, such as Hendred Ukulele Group (HUG) and The Vale Islanders
- Being part of  Wantage Community Church worship band
- Playing at several Wantage Dickensian Evenings
- Playing at Down to Earth community cafe in Wantage
I was presented with a “Thank You For The Music” award by the Ray Collin’s Charitable Trust. I am very proud of that.
